These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of ballyplug.com, our apps, features, videos, and any other products, websites, or services we make available (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using Ballyplug, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.
These Terms are the complete agreement between you and Ballyplug regarding your use of the Services. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
Some features may be subject to additional terms, guidelines, or policies (“Supplemental Terms”). If there is a conflict between these Terms and any Supplemental Terms, the Supplemental Terms will control for that feature or service.
Our mission is to give people a place to connect, share, and discover content—from posts and photos to videos and reels—that matter to them. To support this mission, we provide the Services described below.
Your Ballyplug experience is unique to you. We use information such as your activity, your connections, and your settings to personalize what you see, including posts, reels, profiles, trending topics, suggested friends, and recommended content.
Ballyplug helps you connect with friends, creators, and communities you care about. We may suggest people to follow, accounts to connect with, and content you might like based on your activity and profile.
You can express yourself on Ballyplug by posting text, photos, videos, reels, comments, reactions, and other content. Depending on your settings, your content may be visible to the public, to your connections, or to a custom audience you choose.
We may show you recommendations, ads, sponsored content, and other promotional material to help you discover content, products, services, or accounts that may interest you. These may be based on your profile and activity.
We work to promote the safety and integrity of Ballyplug. We may use automated systems and human review to detect and respond to misuse, unauthorized access, harmful or illegal content, spam, and other behavior that may negatively affect users or our Services. When appropriate, we may remove or restrict content, limit features, or suspend/terminate accounts, and when required by law, cooperate with law enforcement.
We analyze how people use Ballyplug to debug issues, test new features, and improve performance and security. We may run experiments, surveys, or other research to better understand how to serve our community and to develop new tools and experiences.
To provide a reliable, fast Service, we may store and process data using third-party hosting providers and infrastructure that may be located outside of your country of residence, subject to applicable laws.
At this time, Ballyplug may be offered without a direct fee to users. Instead, businesses, brands, and creators may pay us to show you ads, sponsored content, or promote their content or profile.
We may use information about your activity, interests, and general profile to show you content and ads that we think may be more relevant to you. We do not sell information that directly identifies you (such as your name or email address) to advertisers.
Advertisers can choose audiences they want to reach (for example, people interested in music or sports), and we may show their ads to people who appear to match that audience based on Ballyplug data. We may also provide advertisers with aggregated or anonymized reports to help them understand how their content is performing.

We want Ballyplug to be a place where people can express themselves and share freely, but not at the expense of others’ safety, rights, or well-being. You agree not to use the Services to:
We may remove or restrict content, limit features, or suspend/terminate accounts that we believe violate these Terms or harm the Ballyplug community, as described further in Section 4.2.
You own your content. Nothing in these Terms takes away your ownership rights in the content (such as photos, videos, text, or other material) that you post or upload to Ballyplug.
However, in order for us to operate and provide the Services, you grant Ballyplug a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to host, store, use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Services. This license is limited to the purposes of running and improving Ballyplug and ends when your content is deleted from our systems.
When you delete content, it will no longer be visible on your account. However, it may take a reasonable amount of time for us to remove it from backups and systems. Copies that others have made (for example, by re-sharing your post) may also remain unless they delete them.
We welcome feedback and suggestions about Ballyplug. If you choose to submit feedback, you agree that we may use it without any restriction or obligation to compensate you, and that we are not required to keep such feedback confidential.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business, or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by updating the “Effective” date, sending you a notification, or posting an announcement on Ballyplug).
Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective means you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using Ballyplug and may request to delete your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Ballyplug, or delete your account, if we believe you have clearly, seriously, or repeatedly violated these Terms, our policies, applicable laws, or if we are required to do so by law or a government authority.
We may also deactivate or reclaim usernames or accounts that are inactive for an extended period or that we reasonably believe are being misused (for example, impersonation, spam).
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will notify you of the reason for taking action and, when possible, offer you an opportunity to appeal.
Ballyplug and all content and features are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ballyplug will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
In no event will our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Services exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us, if any, for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Services will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws principles (update this to your actual jurisdiction if different).
You agree that any legal proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
